Alan was the President and CEO of Alan Stuart, Inc., with more than 30 years in the men’s clothing business before making the leap into producing theatre with his wife and partner, Kathi. It started out as a hobby to support his daughter’s musical theatre passion and pretty soon the whole family was bit. Alan and his wife soon became known for successfully bringing musicals into the South Florida market. Among them were regional productions of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, OLIVER, THE KING & I and the longest running play in U.S. theatre history, SHEAR MADNESS. They followed these productions with the Off Broadway sensation, I LOVE YOU YOU’RE PERFECT NOW CHANGE and their first Broadway show, THE SHEIK OF AVENUE B. Their proudest productions however, are their 2 daughters, Taryn and Tiffany, their Granddaughter Eden, and their newest addition, grandson Bodhi.
Kathi Glist began her producing career with regional productions of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, OLIVER, THE KING & I, and THE ROTHSCHILDS. Some of her favorite Broadway productions produced by GFour are: THE GLASS MENAGERIE; 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL, written by Dolly Parton and starring Megan Hilty (NBC’s SMASH), Allison Janney (The West Wing), and Stephanie J. Block (Wicked); RING OF FIRE – the Johnny Cash Musical, the Tony Award-winning revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, and GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS, starring Al Pacino. Off-Broadway, she is very proud of her work on I LOVE YOU BECAUSE, and the world-wide phenomenon, MENOPAUSE THE MUSICAL, which is now been seen by nearly 11 million people worldwide, and has become the longest running book-musical in the history of Las Vegas!
